Hi! I like all kind of music, but one of my favorite artist is Don McLean (Even tho I like more Cat Stevens), he -McLean -has the best song that I ever listen to. So I think it's more appropriate that talk about him here. 

Don McLean born with the name Donald McLean III in October 2 of 1945. He is still alive. He plays the guitar, banjo and piano and also sing very well, even for his age (72). His career had a important change when he started to work with United Artist Records.

The genres that he plays are folk, rock and folk-rock.

I like his music because it has meaning, has deep lyrics in every song. 

My favorite song of McLean (and all of the music that I hear) is American Pie. I like it for two reasons: First, it is so simple, do not have many instruments to do it an amazing song. (Madonna really ruined for me).

And second, it have mystery. Nobody knows what is about the most famous song of McLean. They have theories, of course, and have sense, but they are not confirmed by the artist.
